Barring any interruption, the work to rebuild Interstate 40 between Carñuel and Tijeras is expected to wrap up during the third week of July— well ahead of schedule.
The final surfacing and striping on that part of the roadway is the last major piece of the $24 million project that began in July 2006. -- Abq Journal 7/7/07
